Save the Date, June 12
Indiana University South Bend in conjunction with the Indiana Wildlife Federation and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, is hosting the first Northwest Indiana Conservation Happenings meeting.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 12 at the Education and Arts Building on the campus of Indiana University South Bend.
The meeting’s purpose is to facilitate dialogue among local and regional organizations and other stakeholders about the opportunities and challenges for conservation efforts in north and northwest Indiana and to foster collaboration with partners to promote the best outcomes for the quality of life in the region.
The audience will include members of the general public, representatives of a variety of organizations and agencies, and faculty, students and staff of Indiana University South Bend.
It’ll be a day filled with oral presentations, displays and perhaps a “field trip” or two to look at some ongoing conservation activities on campus. The planning committee is working hard at building a robust, entertaining and informative meeting.
