The Indiana Water Monitoring Council (InWMC) has prepared “short and sweet” summaries to help people better understand some of the common water issues in Indiana. These include topics like nutrients, pathogens, fish consumption advisories, arsenic in groundwater and others. See the full list and links below.
These issue papers are less than two pages long, easy to digest and include links to important supporting resources for those that want to know more. They provide simple summaries of somewhat complex water topics designed to be an entry point into learning more. Their content was developed by some of our state’s most knowledgeable professionals, many of whom are members of the InWMC.
We encourage you to use the content these summaries provide as part of your own outreach efforts, citing the Indiana Water Monitoring Council as the source. It is our desire to engage the public and other professionals in the water issues facing Indiana. So, please share the information below. We hope you find it helpful.
If you would like to contribute to the development of a new topical summary paper or have a topic you would like us to address, please let us know here.
